Starlab is a private company based in Barcelona, Spain, developing products and providing R&D solutions and services to a wide range of institutional and private clients (www.starlab.es).

In our Neuroscience Research department we currently have a wide range of private and public research projects underway that support existing products (Enobio) and drive our product pipeline. We wish to add a product support engineer to the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing development and maintenance while supervising production and customer support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Product production including quality control, liaison with providers and process optimisation
  • Product support including user community support
  • Product maintenance and bug fixing
  • Support of development team for product upgrades and new product design
  • Business development and sales support including demo preparation

 

 

Key requirements: 

 BSc. or MSc.: Electronic Engineering or Biomedical Engineering or related

  • Electrophysiological sensors
  • Wireless systems (Bluetooth, ZigBee, 802.15.4, WiFi)
  • Embedded platforms (FPGA, CPLD etc.)
  • Signal processing
  • Low power systems
  • Product development and prototyping
  • Fluent English and Spanish (both spoken and written)

 At least 1 year of experience working in a multidisciplinary, product development environment
