We try to understand how the activity of population of neurons relates to behavior. To achieve this goal, we record, in behaving rodents, the electrical activity of population of neurons using electrodes arrays and we perform advanced signal processing and data analysis.
We are currenty focusing our investigations on two topics. The first one is the relation between elementary motor commands and neuronal activity in the basal ganglia and hippocampus. The second one is to examine the impact of cannabinoids and endocannabinoids on brain activity and behavioral performance.
